Sarah Milligan is an Irish artist based on the North Coast of Northern Ireland. Alongside her love of painting, Sarah works as a public health doctor, and has found a lot of joy in creating art since she was a child. Sarah has also had the privilege to travel all over the world and is a keen mountain runner who loves to be in nature.
Inspired by the beauty of local landscapes right on her doorstep, and from her travels further afield, Sarah’s work features bold colours and movement, which is seen in her expressive use of palette knife, paint roller and water to create dynamic scenes which draw the viewer in.
Sarah joined Belfast International Collective in September 2024, a shared studio space in South Belfast. Since joining the collective, Sarah has had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with artists from a range of backgrounds, and immerse herself in the local art scene.
